“That’s my dream” Johnny Walker has his sights set for two title victories following UFC 283 win vs Paul Craig

After defeating Paul Craig at UFC 283 at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Johnny Walker has expressed his desire to pursue greater challenges which includes two title victories.

In 2018, Walker competed in his first UFC bout, which was against Khalil Rountree Jr., and Walker emerged victorious. In the four years that have passed since then, the Brazilian has been victorious over Justin Ledet, Misha Cirkunov, Ryan Spann, and Ion Cutelaba.

Walker’s record in the UFC is now at 6-4, and his overall MMA career record is 20-7 after the spectacular victory against Paul on the 21st of January. Invigorated by the victory, the thirty-year-old fighter shows no indication of slowing down and instead focuses on getting a title fight as soon as possible.

Johny, who is currently ranked ninth in the light heavyweight division, has previously competed against Jamahal Hill and Nikita Krylov, both of whom are ranked higher than he is, and he was defeated in both of those bouts. However, the mixed martial artist, now believes that he has the ability to defeat them because he thinks that he is improving.

”I finished a guy in the top 10 in the first round, and this guy already fought three rounds with Ankalaev and finished Hill in the first hound, and then I finished him. It shows I’m getting better, and my evolution keeps going on. Every fight, I get a better fighter.” said Walker.

Johnny is heavily influenced by Daniel Cormier, and Johny aspires to achieve the same level of success as The American by developing his talents and getting to a level where he can win two belts.

”He’s champ-champ – two belts. Come on. That’s my dream, as well, and this guy did it. I want to be on his level one day. I want to be a good wrestler, and improve all of my skills because I want to be there. I want to be ready to do what he did.” said Walker in the post-match interview.

When do you think Johny will finally have a shot at the title?
