It took me four years to go through its extensive tapestry of 720 episodes and the accompanying collection of six or seven engrossing films, interspersed with brief intervals. Israel Adesanya next UFC bout

Israel Adesanya is expected to take centre stage when the UFC visits Sydney again in September. The opponent for Adesanya is still unknown, though, given the plethora of middleweight fights scheduled and the consideration of rapid turnarounds. There are rumours about possible roster changes for the division or the possibility of giving Adesanya a second chance to compete against Jamahal Hill for a two-division title.

The acclaimed commentator Mike Heck offers his thoughts on Adesanya’s likely next opponent during the most recent broadcast of Heck of a Morning on MMA Fighting. He expresses dissatisfaction with the pairing of Robert Whittaker and Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 290, which took place two months earlier, and suggests a new slate of middleweight bouts.

One suggestion is to bring in Du Plessis into the title matchup in September with Adesanya. The conversation also covers Dana White’s response to Francis Ngannou joining the PFL, White’s remarks regarding Aljamain Sterling, the UFC bantamweight champion, Alex Pereira’s rise to the light heavyweight division, the potential timing of a Leon Edwards vs. Colby Covington fight in 2023, and more.
