TUF: Conor McGregor arrives in Las Vegas as coach alongside urgent opponent Michael Chandler

Conor McGregor is back! The Irish champion recently shared luxury photos of his private jet, apparel, and unreleased food from his very own restaurant on his way to Las Vegas. Now the official accounts of UFC itself, have shared pictures of the former multi-division fighter entering the Apex Facility.

He is currently being aided by his wife and three children but when the filming starts, we could see familiar faces like Straight Blast Gym’s John Kavanagh. Conor pulled off his classic shadow boxing move standing in front of the season’s plaque and jerseys hung on the walls of the facility.

His opponent Michael Chandler has also recently been actively promoting the event and talking about which weight class the fight may take place in. The former Bellator champ is also expected to bring his flavor to the event as he has brought in former UFC light-heavyweight and current Bellator heavyweight champ Ryan Bader in his camp.

How was the fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler made?

Chandler had a blazing entry into the UFC after he defeated Dan Hooker within the very fast round. Expectations were high from the former champ and soon he was seen in a title fight against Charles ‘Bo Bronx’ Oliveira. ‘Iron’ did put up a good fight and at one point, it looked like he might get the job done. But ultimately Charles walked away as champ that day.

Ever since then, Michael has gone on to face big names like Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, and Tony Ferguson. Bar the Ferguson fight, all other matchups ended in a similar fashion as the former Bellator fighter puts on a good show but doesn’t get the job done. Even amongst his losses, he managed to draw good attention from fans.

It is exactly this quality of his, that may have got him selected as the opponent to welcome ‘Mystic Mac’ back into the Octagon. McGregor has lost almost all his last few fights apart from the Cowboy Cerrone bout. He has also been going through a lot of legal trouble, with some suggesting his comeback may be linked to a cover-up attempt.

Are you excited about this fight? Let us know!
