UFC champ Israel Adesanya fires back at ex-girlfriend’s legal claim for half his earnings: “Your threats don’t work here anymore”

Israel Adesanya is currently engaged in a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend outside of the octagon as she allegedly demanded half of his money after their breakup. Izzy posted a long powerful message on social media in response to the assertion.

Adesnaya’s ex-girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell made legal threats against the UFC fighter a few days ago, saying she is entitled to half of his earnings. Charlotte claims that she helped Izzy during his difficult times and during his rise to the top; as a result, she is entitled to a half-share of whatever Adesanya has made over the years.

What did Israel Adesanya write to his ex girlfriend?

The UFC middleweight champion doesn’t exactly share his personal life and romantic relationships with the public and media. However, it appears that the 33-year-old fighter is so enraged with his ex-girlfriend that he publicly posted a letter to Powdrell on social media.

The Last Stylebender wrote a lengthy letter detailing his disdain and hatred for what his ex-girlfriend had done to him. Adesanya also told Charlotte to hire a lawyer who can defend her. As she threatened to take half of his property, Adesanya says there no way she can legally win against him.

“You have never helped me make money, only ever cost me money. Now you think you deserve half my shit? What an entitled pompous BRAT you are. I spit on you. I dare you to start your stupid campaign. Your threats don’t work here anymore, they’re fired!” Adesnaya wrote.

Adesanya and Charlotte never got married, and they never had children together. In Auckland, New Zealand, Powdrell works as a real estate agent. The Nigerian fighter’s private life issue has already generated controversy in the MMA community, with many speaking out in Izzy’s defense.

From Africa to New Zealand, Adesanya has worked to build himself up from hardships to become a kickboxer, then UFC champion, and one of the most popular fighters in the sport today. Adesanya’s MMA record stands at 24 wins and two losses. After losing to Alex Pereira in November,  ‘The Last Stylebender’ took the revenge in UFC 287 at Miami octagon. The best in the business, Nigerian-born fighter’s only defeat prior to the Pereira fight was on his Light Heavyweight debut against Jan Błachowicz at UFC 259 in Las Vegas.
