UFC icon Conor McGregor issues crystal clear message to ‘keep fighting’ amid r*pe allegations and missing USADA pool deadline

For the last few weeks, Conor McGregor has been surrounded by a lot of controversies. First, the Irishman put the Miami Heat mascot to hospital with a lethal punch in what was supposed to be a planned skit. Thereafter, a woman accused the former UFC champion of sexually assaulting her in a bathroom.

Apart from these problems, fans who were waiting for his return inside the octagon this year are unhappy after he missed the final date of entering the USADA testing pool. Moreover, Michael Chandler who is Conor’s next opponent is also frustrated after finding out that he won’t be able to fight this year.

With no concrete information about Conor McGregor making his comeback in the UFC, fight fans and analysts around the world started speculating that the Irishman might hang up his boots and walk away from MMA. However, The Notorious denied all these rumours and gave a positive report on his return.

McGregor who was in New York City yesterday thanked fans for their everlasting support. As he was leaving the hotel, the former champion was swarmed by a group of reporters who asked him about the women’s allegations. Conor denied all the allegations and revealed that his priority is to fight.

Is McGregor vs Michael Chandler’s bout cancelled after the Notorious missed the USADA pool?

Conor McGregor had assured his fans that he will enter the USADA testing pool by the end of May. However, he has missed the final date of entering the drug testing pool and according to the stipulations, a UFC fighter needs to be in the USADA pool for six months in order to compete inside the octagon. With the Irishman missing the date, all hopes of a year end fight against Michael Chandler comes to an end.
