Numerous aficionados of mixed martial arts have questioned the credibility of the ongoing speculation regarding a confrontation between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Dana White responded to critics saying the discussion of the fight isn’t merely a publicity stunt, in fact, it is something that will soon become a reality.
Both Mark and Musk showed interest in going toe-to-toe in the octagon earlier last week. The UFC president also affirmed that the two billionaires are not fooling around and his company Ultimate Fighting Championship will do everything to make it happen.
Dana White’s Response to ‘Gimmick Fight’
Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, two billionaires, have been the subject of much rumor regarding a potential epic battle. As debate over the fight continued, Dana White uploaded a video on Instagram wearing mega-fight merchandise.
“This isn’t a gimmick fight. Gimmick is MMA guys going to Boxing and getting beat. We have seen it already and know how it ends. This is a fight between 2 of the most powerful/richest guys in the world.” Dana said.

As the CEO of the world’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion, Dana looks already super excited to count the profits from this grand fight. The UFC president has already stated that this is going to be the biggest fight in the history of the world.

Is Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg confirmed?
Now that Dana has said it, there are sufficient grounds to be optimistic about seeing them in the octagon. But things are still only in the beginning stages. The fight’s date and location must therefore be determined after much negotiation and debate.

Other than that, there’s a difference in height and weight between the two billionaires. White seems to have a plan for that as well, though details are scarce.
“Well, it would be an exhibition, it wouldn’t be sanctioned by a commission. But, what I love and respect is that both of these guys are down, they both want to do it. I’m in the middle trying to put the pieces together and see what we can do.” Dana added.
During the discussion about the highly anticipated showdown, Dana White drew a comparison between this potential fight and the iconic clash between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather in 2017. Dana expressed optimism, stating that he believes this upcoming battle could surpass the immense financial success of the McGregor-Mayweather fight, which generated a staggering 600 million in revenue.
