Watch: NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal keeps promise, eats frog legs following Georgia’s victory vs TCU
Shaquille O’Neal once again proves that he is a man of his word. Gambling in sports is either a hit or a miss. If you win the bet, you get the prize or let your opponent suffer. On the other hand, it can also backfire when you lose- either you have to give something to your opponent, or they will punish you with something unexpected- entirely out of the blue.
However, not everyone goes on to fulfil their promises. People usually try to make a narrow escape or deny what they had said earlier. Big man Shaq is unlike those people; when he says something, he means it, even if it means that he has to eat “Horned Frog” legs!
A few days earlier, the NBA’s legendary giant O’Neal had made a bet that if TCU Horned Frogs did not go on to win the CFP Championship against the Georgia Bulldogs, he would eat horned frog legs, and that being said, TCU did not stand a chance against the Bulldogs as the Georgians thrashed and humiliated the Horned From with a mammoth margin of 58 points, the score card being 65-7.
Shaquille O’Neal had to bite his words after TCU lost the game, along with some delicious crispy horned frog legs. Yet he did not seem to care much about losing the bet and enjoyed eating the legs. Moreover, while eating the “delicacy,” Big Shamrock sarcastically says that these were the best frog he had ever had. Talk about entertainment!
