Are Dana White and Donald Trump friends? explaining the relation between UFC boss and former POTUS

On a memorable night, Donald Trump once again showcased his interest and support for mixed martial arts by attending UFC 290, one of the most anticipated events in the MMA calendar.

Dana White’s Friendship with Donald Trump

It is true that Donald Trump has always had a keen interest in a variety of sports, including mixed martial arts (MMA). The former US president revealed his love for MMA and has already been to multiple UFC events.

Trump’s connection to the UFC goes back to prior to his campaign for president. The 77-year-old American politician has long been a lover of combat sports, and his participation at UFC events has probably given him a chance to solidify his friendship with Dana.

In April of this year, Donald Trump was observed at the Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, attending UFC 287 to witness a series of exhilarating fights.

Considering the fact that, Dana usually does not appear to be much of a liberal, it’s safe to assume that he falls on the ‘right’ end of the political spectrum. In which case it’s not unnatural for him to be friends with the former republican president.

The former President’s attendance generated immense enthusiasm within the MMA community as well. Trump’s interaction with the crowd, acknowledging their support with a wave of his hands, further amplified the electric ambiance of the event.

Despite being accompanied by a team of secret service agents handling his security, Trump seemed to have had a memorable evening at the T-Mobile Arena. During the event, he was seen in the company of actor Mel Gibson, political strategist Roger Stone, and former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

Alongside Donald Trump, a multitude of influential individuals and celebrities graced the MMA showdown tonight, adding to the exceptional performances, new champions, and contenders that came out of this card.
