It is true that Donald Trump has always had a keen interest in a variety of sports, including mixed martial arts (MMA). The former US president revealed his love for MMA and has already been to multiple UFC events.
Trump’s connection to the UFC goes back to prior to his campaign for president. The 77-year-old American politician has long been a lover of combat sports, and his participation at UFC events has probably given him a chance to solidify his friendship with Dana.

Considering the fact that, Dana usually does not appear to be much of a liberal, it’s safe to assume that he falls on the ‘right’ end of the political spectrum. In which case it’s not unnatural for him to be friends with the former republican president.
