Dana White wife slapping saga: “Deserves a slapping back” Sean O’Malley vouches for Dana claims Anne caused altercation

Sean O’Malley responded to the week’s hottest UFC topic on his YouTube channel and sided with Dana White in the slapping controversy.
While celebrating New Year’s Eve,the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dana White, was seen getting into a physical altercation with his wife, which resulted in him slapping her. The entire clash that took place between Dana and his wife was recorded on camera, and it was uploaded to the internet right away.
New Year’s Eve found Dana and his wife in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, amongst friends. From the looks of things, they were having a great time in the nightclub’s VIP section until something unexpected happened. Dana’s wife took offense to something Dana said and slapped him. Dana slapped her back, and the two continued fighting in the middle of the crowd until their friends intervened. This unfortunate event has postponed the debut of Dana Whites’ Power Slap League, a new combat sports organization.

Sean O’Malley thinks that there is something pretty shady about the whole incident because the video was released a couple of days after the incident actually took place. O’Malley thought Dan’s apology was pretty genuine, regardless of whether or not there was something fishy about the whole incident.
“This happened New Year’s and it came out Monday which is rare. TMZ s**t usually comes out instantly. They got good PR behind (them). He came out with an apology which I watched. I thought he said everything he needed to say but it seemed genuine.” said Sean.
In addition, Sean was devastated because alcohol had played a role in this unfortunate incident. Both Dana White and his wife Anne White admitted in an interview with TMZ that they were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident and that they had little control over what they did that night as a result of the intoxication.

”I don’t think, sober, would he have done that? No. I would assume sober, no drinks, she slaps him, I don’t think his initial reaction is to slap back. When that alcohol’s flowing, I’ve never hit a girl, but I’ve been blacked out and I’ve done things that I can’t believe I’ve done. What if that was his like, f**k, he did and was like, I don’t know. I don’t think it was right. Obviously, you should not hit, especially a little girl like that. But alcohol is flowing, and she hit him first.” Sean added.
Nevertheless, Sean believes that the way Dana slapped his wife back was appropriate given the circumstances. From O’Malley’s perspective, Anne should never have slapped Dana in the first place, which would have prevented Dana from slapping her.
“I feel bad for Dana. His wife slapped him. That is rude and it deserves a slapping back. I don’t know it’s a tricky one. It’s like, treat people how you want to be treated.” O’Malley said.

Later, in an interview, Dana White expressed his regret for what had happened that night and said he felt so bad about what had happened.
