Oscar De La Hoya and Dana White have been at each other’s throats for a number of years, and Oscar De La Hoya decided to reignite their feud after Dana White’s recent incident of slapping his wife.
In 2017, Oscar and Dana got into an argument about Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor’s super fight, which was the beginning of their ongoing feud. Since that time, the boxer-turned-promoter and the president of the UFC have had several heated verbal exchanges with one another.
Oscar did not miss the chance to mock Dana White by making fun of him for slapping his wife and responding to this week’s most talked-about topic in the UFC. De La Hoya’s public comments about the incident have undoubtedly rekindled their long-running rivalry.

Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, was recorded getting into a physical altercation with his wife while celebrating New Year’s in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They were seen in a video having a great time in the nightclub’s VIP section until something unexpected happened. Dana’s wife slapped him after taking offense to something Dana said. Dana slapped her, and the two fought in the middle of the crowd until their friends intervened.
In an interview with TMZ Dana later said that it was embarrassing for him and how sorry he is for everything that happened.
” I am one of the guys, you have heard me say for years, there has never, ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman, and now here I am on TMZ talking about it. My wife and I have been married for 30 years,we have known each other since we were 12 years old,” said Dana.
However, De La Hoya did not seem to care about Dana’s apology and instead made fun of him for slapping his wife and bringing up the issue of the pay of UFC fighters in the same tweet. Before Oscar started making remarks about the problems, he jokingly referred to Dana as his good friend.

The American boxing promoter is not the only one to take a stand against this issue and criticize Dana White.Many other prominent figures in the combat sports industry have criticized Dana in the past week.
