Conor McGregor has posted a fiery tweet calling for everyone to line up ahead of his return to the cage after almost two years.
Conor McGregor is without a doubt one of the most divisive figures in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Even when he is not competing, the Irish mixed martial arts fighter thrives on being the center of attention in the public eye. That’s why there’s always news for Conor’s fans to get pumped about.
McGregor made his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship back in the year 2013. During the course of his decade-long career in this promotion, he competed in a total of 14 bouts, of which he was victorious in 10. Conor has received a lot of admiration for winning titles in two different weight classes, featherweight and lightweight.
The Irish UFC fighter has been out of the octagon for more than a year after suffering a critical injury in his last fight. McGregor has recovered quickly and has scheduled several comeback fights this year. Conor, on the other hand, kept himself in the news even when he wasn’t fighting, thanks to his controversial tweets.
The 34 years old mixed martial art fighter has posted a threatening tweet without specifically calling out any fighter. However, in the tweet, he said “line up,” which may be interpreted as a challenge to all of his top opponents to get ready to face him in the cage.
”I’m going to slice through someone on return. Trust that. And I don’t care who. Line up.” Conor tweeted.
I’m going to slice through someone on return. Trust that. And I don’t care who. Line up.
