Now UFC Bantamweight Marlon Vera has decided to drop such a huge bombshell revelation that if proven true, can change the course of MMA landscape forever.

The Ecuadorian prospect recently made an appearance in the Beleive You Me podcast hosted by Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith. Where among many things, Chito brought up accusations of drug abuse among UFC fighters, pointing toward some names and indirectly targeting many more. How valid are Vera’s claims?

November 7, 2021, UFC 268 had just wrapped up and the defeated title challenger Colby Covington was speaking to the press. In reply to one question, Colby accused his opponent Kamaru Usman of using drugs that affected their fights. Covington suspected one of Kamaru’s brothers who is experienced as a pharmacist doctor, helped his brother cheat the USADA tests.

Later, big-time fighters like Jon Jones and T.J. Dillashaw had also been busted for drug use. Very recently, Conor Mcgregor posted pictures of his new jacked physique and people immediately took notice of his unnatural rate of recovery from a serious leg injury he suffered earlier. Following this, many fans and fighters started accusing ‘The Notorious’ of accusing steroids.

Chito suggested that retired Bantamweight Dillashaw abuses PEDs to this day. The only reason that T.J. retired was so he could utilize loops in USADA’s regulations (The same Conor was accused of doing) to come back and compete again while still on steroids,

“If he comes back, it will be weird because he tested positive already and he said he’s retiring for good. It’s crazy because the moment you retire, you’re out of the [USADA] pool, I’m like, at least test the guy for a year.”

“I believe people are cheating even until this day, I really believe that. I heard there’s drugs you can take and literally overnight [the banned substance] kind of like disappear… but I would probably rather die than cheat. That’s just me right” Vera concluded.

Vera is set to take on Cory Sandhagen at the Apex in February.
