When Israel Adesanya triumphed over his long-time opponent Alex Pereira at UFC 287, he made a huge impact on the MMA world. Despite having faced each other three times before, this was the first time that Adesanya emerged victorious, marking a significant achievement.
As a result, Adesanya has earned recognition as potentially one of the greatest of all time. Meanwhile, it seems unlikely that Pereira will get a chance to challenge Adesanya again, as UFC president Dana White has hinted that Alex may switch to the 205 lbs category.

Dan Hooker recently proposed a potential match between Jon and Israel. Which gained attention on social media through the Twitter handle “No Context Ariel Helwani“.
Although Chael Sonnen did not completely dismiss the idea while discussing it with Ariel Helwani. Fans have not shown much enthusiasm toward this potential fight.
Although Dan Hooker seemed convinced about the possibility of a matchup between Israel Adesanya and Jon Jones. Fans considered the idea to be unrealistic, at the very least.
Pereira urged by Cejudo to rematch Israel Adesanya
Despite Adesanya’s denial of any potential rematch, Henry Cejudo, who holds two championship titles, encouraged Alex Pereira to face Adesanya once again to settle their rivalry.
Adesanya had previously mocked Pereira’s son after defeating him, and Cejudo wanted Pereira to take action against it. As it stands, the UFC records show that Adesanya and Pereira are tied at 1-1.
A third fight between them would make sense to determine the ultimate winner. But it remains to be seen whether the athletes and the promotion agree to the matchup.
After Jon Jones easily defeated Ciryl Gane in a highly anticipated fight, he appears to be in excellent shape. Despite Gane’s reputation as a skilled striker, Jones did not allow him to gain any advantage.
