Once considered one of the UFC’s most promising prospects, Kevin Lee’s return to MMA has sparked interest among fans and fighters. Kevin Lee UFC career recap

Kevin Lee debuted for the UFC in 2014 with his first fight being a loss. But since then, he dedicated all of his time to hone his craft and put together a string of wins before suffering another loss. Despite the setback, Lee had earned a shot at the interim Lightweight Championship in 2017, which he unfortunately lost via a triangle choke submission.

He had mostly undercard fights but was a shining prospect for the UFC until injuries plagued his chances. However, he returned to the UFC in February 2023 and viewers were excited to see what the Motown Phenom could bring to the table. Unfortunately, his return was not as jubilant after losing to Rinat Fakhretdinov at UFC Vegas 76.

The Phenom has always been unafraid and has possessed a headstrong personality, calling out fighters and challenging them to fights. However, a string of defeats and previous injury problems forced the star to retire once again in July 2023.

Kevin Lee has now announced his return and intention to face big names such as Tony Ferguson, Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. He has stated that the main reason for his return is “to not have any regrets” concerning his MMA career.
