In a recent interview, Khabib Nurmagomedov shared a story when he was with Sir Alex Ferguson. The former UFC fighter witnessed Manchester United’s match against Everton at Old Trafford. When United’s boss offered Khabib a glass of wine, he turned it down by saying alcohol could make him go crazy, which could turn out to be dangerous for them.
The Eagle also explained that he was thinking about how to explain to Ferguson that he is a Muslim and doesn’t drink. Instead, he made up a humorous comment by saying if he drinks alcohol, he would smash all of them.
He said, “Sir Alex Ferguson asked me if I wanted a glass of wine. I was like, how do I explain to him that I’m Muslim? So I just said ‘Drinking isn’t good for me because if I do it, I’m going to crush you all.” To this Sir Alex responded, “Okay, it’s better if you don’t drink.” The hilarious response has wowed fans.
