Skip Bayless boldly predicts James Harden’s arrival as a terrifying addition for Clippers

James Harden is entering into his 15th season in the NBA. The former Philadelphia 76ers 6-foot 5-inch guard has made waves for so many years through the NBA.

His is on a journey which keeps unfolding as he tries his level best to win that coveted Championship which has been eluding him since the past decade and a half. James Harden has drawn a lot of criticism from fans, reporters and analysts for his habit of quitting teams. Now Skip Bayless, in his show Undisputed, made a bold prediction about Harden.

Bayless calls Harden’s move to Clippers is a Halloween nightmare

The basketball world will be waiting to see who won the trade between the 76ers and the Clippers. But Skip Bayless, on “Undisputed,” had already given his verdict on James Harden’s trade to the Los Angeles Clippers.

“In honor of Halloween, the Clippers just fell into the worst nightmare they’ve ever been. They have lived in nightmares for years and years here in the shadow of the Lakers in Los Angeles. … Tonight, if you wanna dress up as somebody who will scare people, dress up as James Harden,” Bayless said.

There is ample evidence of James Harden’s history of pressuring trades. In the summer of 2012, Morey acquired Harden from OKC through trade. The Houston Rockets were the team that helped him turn into a superstar and MVP. When Morey left the Rockets, he promptly forced his way out.

After being traded by the Rockets, Harden joined Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to form a lethal trio for the Brooklyn Nets. The three-time scoring champion found a way out quickly once more. Morey, who is currently with the Philadelphia 76ers, helped him out by moving Ben Simmons, who was in trouble, to Brooklyn.

However, James Harden ended up calling Daryl Morey “a liar” in front of Chinese fans following his two seasons in Philadelphia. He promised that he would never play for a team that hired the executive. Ultimately, the 76ers caved and dispatched the desired point guard to his home state. He is currently in Los Angeles to team up with Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and Kawhi Leonard to form a lethal core.

How many NBA teams has James Harden played for?

James Harden has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder (2009- 2012), The Houston Rockets (2012-2021), Brooklyn Nets (2021-2022) and the Philadelphia 76ers (2022-2023) in his NBA career so far. His journey has been a roller coaster ride all along.

Despite being a highly skilled player who deserves a championship ring, Harden has only made it to the NBA Finals once in his illustrious career. It is a sad truth that many times players of his caliber never win a championship, but then again, that’s the whole point of team sports. It is the performance of every single member of the team, including the coaches, support personnel, and players. No matter the stature of a player, winning the NBA Championship is a difficult accomplishment when the stars don’t always align.
