“S**t”: UFC president Dana White left speechless after Conor McGregor’s fighter knocked out by Team Chandler in nine seconds

After six months of intense anticipation, The Ultimate Fighter 31: Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler finally made its television debut yesterday. Even Dana White was astonished as Conor McGregor’s fighter was brutally knocked out during the first episode, which was exhilarating for the audiences as well. 

Beginning on May 30 and continuing until August 15, TUF will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+. Conor McGregor, a former two-division UFC champion, and Michael Chandler, a former three-time Bellator Lightweight World Champion, are competing this time as the head coaches.

Conor McGregor’s fighter knocked out in nine seconds in TUF 31

In the first match of the reality show’s premiere episode, Nate Jennerman (Chandler LW 2) and Roosevelt Roberts (McGregor LW 3) faced off in the octagon. Conor’s fighter suffered a terrible defeat.

As the bout began, Nate did not get a chance to settle before he was knocked out by Roosevelt. When referee Mark Smith stopped Robert from pinching helpless Jennerman it was only the ninth second into the fight. 

The quick ending of such a much-anticipated opening clash made everyone surprised. Dana White later announced that it was undoubtedly one of fastest knockouts in the history of TUF.

Earlier Dana announced the premier of TUF on his Twitter account officially. Many appreciated the UFC president for continuing this incredible legacy to promote MMA and find out hidden talents through such a wonderful reality show.

In the first episode, all the cast members along with the head coaches followed the instructions of Dana before the teams’ fighters were picked by Conor and Chandler.

After that Mystic Mac introduced Cian Cowley and Owen Roddy as his assistant coach. Also ‘Mystic Mike introduced Ryan Bader, Robert Drysdale and  Jason Strout as his team’s assistant coaches.
