After a lot of hype and excitement, the UFC made its return to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In what was the last event of the year, the fans were in for a treat. As such, let’s take a look at UFC Vegas 45 Results + Full Fight Video Highlights.
For the main event, #3 rank Heavyweight Derrick Lewis and #7 rank Chris Daukaus put on a good show. Both the fighters gave it their all inside the Octagon, but to viewers, the fight was almost over in a flash. Eventually, Derrick Lewis won via KO/TKO in the first round of the banger main event.
Up next we had a welterweight co-main event. Belal Muhammad absolutely dominated his opponent, Stephen Thompson in a one-way traffic fight. Although early on it appeared as though Wonderboy made a good start, Belal slowly grew into the fight and was able to wear his opponent down to get a Unanimous Decision.
Moreover, we also saw Amanda Lemos take on Angela Hill in one of the most explosive fights of the night. Whilst the pair traded heavy shots, it was the Brazilian Lemos who was able to get the Split Decision victory. It was an exemplary performance that won the pair the Fight of the Night honors as well.
Also on the card were Raphael Assuncao vs Ricky Simon, Diego Ferreira vs Mateusz Gamrot, and Cub Swanson vs Darren Elkins. That sums up your main card for the night.
