Fury negotiated with Paul as he turned down two of his offerings in the August. Previously the YouTuber-turned-boxer offered Fury a $1 million purse, which was turned down by Fury claiming that the money was lower than his expectation.

Now that Fury denied Paul’s offers, Paul came back with a new offer along with some conditions, which seems interesting. According to Paul’s offer, he offered Fury paying $500K extra from his purse on top of the $1 million, if Fury wins. On the other hand, if Fury loses, he would change his name legally to “Tommy Fumble” at least for one year. Further, Fury will also need to change his social media account names without 24 hours of the loss. Also, he will have to attend the post fight conference with his new name.

Tommy apparently accepted the deal as his half-brother boxing superstar WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury told that if Tommy cannot win over Jake Paul, he should forget about boxing as well as his brother Tyson.

However, Tommy Fury accepted the offer officially. Also the announced fight date was on 18 December. Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight would have taken place in Miami.
