On February 6, a terrible earthquake in Turkey and Syria left the whole world shocked due to its severe nature as the magnitude was recorded as 7.6 and 7.7 with more than 33,000 people found dead by the two strong earthquakes and the number could go up even higher as still there are thousands of peoples are yet to be rescued.
The two-strong earthquake hit the center of the Kahramanmaras province and affected more than 13 million people across 10 provinces, also including Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, and Sanliurfa.
Over 33,000 deaths have been confirmed as a result of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria so far. The high death toll is a result of poor infrastructure due to corruption, neglect, and ignorance. Erdogan's government was elected in 2002 and one of the promises was to solve this. pic.twitter.com/fpSkt6pOo0
