Warriors’ Steph Curry Mocks Nuggets Team asking them to Take a Nap following Playoffs Knockout

GSW point guard Steph Curry has hilariously mocked the Denver Nuggets to take a nap after he scored decisively to knock the nuggets out of this season’s playoffs. GSW win the series 4-1 and the final two games don’t need to be played at all.

Steph Curry scored with only 30 seconds left in the game to take the Warriors from 97 to 99 points. Denver was hot on their heels with 94 points, but Curry scored in the blink of an eye to the delight of the San Francisco fans. But what has got the people talking is the way that curry is celebrated in the aftermath.

Steph cusped his hands and rested his head on them to send a message to Denver to take a nap. Curry knew that the series was all but won by Golden State Warriors as they had been leading the Nuggets 3-1 in 4 games. The fifth game was the ultimate decider in this series.

Denver was always the clear underdog against the Warriors, one of the best teams in the NBA league. The first 3 games came as a clean sweep for the Golden State but eventually, The Nuggets rallied themselves for a comeback in the 4th to give their fans some hope.

The 5th game was a must-win for the Nuggets if they had any hopes of drawing the series. But Steph Curry and Co. dashed the dreams of the state of Colorado and thumped them in the 5th.

To add insult to injury, Curry even mocked the team in jest! Denver was outplayed in every game except the 4th. But with aces such as Steph Curry and Draymond Green on the team, GSW never looked likely to lose the series to the Denver Nuggets. The biggest threat to GSW was in fact Nuggets ace and MVP Nikola Jokić. The power forward was sensational during the game and even made a “no look” bounce pass in the closing minutes.

But Jokic and his efforts were clearly not enough and the Nuggets lost only for Steph Curry to add salt to their wounds!
