The 2024 NFL Draft is in progress and many top draft prospects have already been selected. The Arizona Cardinals have also signed some talented players, the most recent being RB Trey Benson.
Recently, it was reported that the team selected FSU RB Terry Benson in the third round of the NFL Draft with the No. 66 overall pick.
Trey Benson spent the past two seasons of his career with Florida State. During that time, he posted at least 906 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. He finished his career at FSU with 310 carries for 1,896 yards and 23 touchdowns. The RB also caught 33 balls for 371 and another score.
Now, Benson is expected to bolster the backfield with the Arizona Cardinals, as the RB will get a chance to learn from veteran James Conner. Aside from him, the Arizona Cardinals have also made some other moves this NFL Draft to make sure they add dynamic talent to their roster.
Arizona Cardinals’ remaining picks in the 2024 NFL Draft
The Arizona Cardinals have already selected multiple players in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft, including Marvin Harrison Jr., whose girlfriend was trending ahead of the draft night.
But the team still has several picks remaining in the 2024 NFL Draft. For Round 3 they have Pick No. 71 overall, acquired from the Tennessee Titans.
The Arizona Cardinals also have Pick No. 79 (acquired from the Atlanta Falcons), and Pick No. 90 (obtained from the Houston Texans).
For Round 4, they have Pick No. 104 and Pick No. 138 overall. In round 5, they will have one selection: Pick No. 162 (acquired from the Houston Texans). For round 7, the Cardinals have Pick No. 226 overall (acquired from the New York Giants).
With these remaining picks, the Arizona Cardinals have multiple opportunities to further strengthen their team and add depth across various positions.
