Donald Trump once dropped unfiltered take on Tom Brady as potential son-in-law

Tom Brady, the legendary seven-time Super Bowl champion, boasts a global fan following, including none other than former President Donald Trump. Trump has been known to frequently mention and appreciate the former QB, solidifying the quarterback’s status not just in the sports world but also in the realm of presidential admiration.

Trump’s admiration for Brady is evident, going to the extent of expressing a desire to make the football icon a part of his family.

Trump’s past mention of Brady as a son-in-law candidate

Donald Trump once shared that he is not happy with his daughter, Ivanka’s husband, Kushner, stating that he has not been beneficial to him. He also said that he wished that instead, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, who now believes there is a decline in excellence in the NFL, was his son-in-law.

“Could have had Tom Brady” as a son-in-law, Trump said, adding: “Instead, I got Jared Kushner.”

Ivanka’s mother, Ivana, also shared this wish of the former President in her book: that Trump wanted his daughter to meet and marry Tom Brady, who is recently rumored to be dating Irina Shayk.

“At one point, Donald wanted her to date Tom Brady, the quarterback,” Ivana wrote in her book.

Trump had suggested that Ivanka meet Brady, indicating a desire for the football star to be part of his inner circle. Even during Trump’s presidency, he used to talk about the former QB often bringing him up in conversations jokingly.

Tom Brady and his team, the Patriots, were later invited to visit the White House but he missed the visit, citing “family reasons.”

Rumors circulated, speculating that Brady’s then-wife, Gisele Bündchen, might have influenced his decision due to potential jealousy or protective feelings. However, this wish of the ex-president to make Tom Brady his son-in-law could never be fulfilled.

Donald Trump’s surprising comparison to Lamar Jackson and Tom Brady

Donald Trump’s height and weight were officially recorded as 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds during his booking at Fulton County Jail in Atlanta. But hold on, social media exploded with chatter about how he could match up with NFL greats in size.

Trump’s listed measurements sparked discussion on social media, with many noting the unexpected similarity to football player figures.

Tom Brady’s height and weight during his football career were 6-foot-3 and 217 pounds, making him two pounds heavier than Trump at the time of his arrest. Trump’s measurements were also compared to Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is 6-2 and 215 pounds.

Fans couldn’t wrap their heads around the idea that Trump’s stats could rival those of top athletes.

Fast forward to April, and guess what? Trump’s numbers changed—now 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds, suggesting growth in height and a weight loss of 25 pounds in a little more than three months.

This raised doubts among fans, suggesting potential inaccuracies in the evidence regarding the President’s measurements.

The saga continues, leaving us all wondering: Is it a tale of transformation or a mix-up in the measurements game? Stay tuned for the next episode of Trump’s Height and Weight Chronicles.
