Ex-wife Gisele Bundchen’s role revealed in Tom Brady’s retirement

The NFL world is still processing the shock of GOAT player Tom Brady’s retirement on Wednesday. The retirement decision came shortly after his divorce from the supermodel Gisele Bundchen. One of the major reasons for their split was Brady’s decision to put forward his career which his ex-wife had an issue with.

Their marriage of more than a decade ended in this unexpected way and now it seems like it was all for nothing. Fans can’t help wondering if Brady’s retirement has anything to do with his personal life, especially his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.

Brady announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday after 23 seasons, 20 with the Patriots and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After his temporary retirement turned into a drawn-out process last year, the quarterback decided to declare his ultimate decision this year via a short video uploaded on social media.

Brady goes, “Good morning guys, I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring for good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I just press record and let you guys know first. I won’t be long-winded, you only get one super-emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year.”

Following the announcement, Brady shared a series of nostalgic pictures on his Instagram story where some of the pictures of his ex-wife with his children were shared as well.

On his Instagram post revealing the news of retirement, Gisele commented, “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life.” It was a nice gesture of mutual respect but the fans still believe that Gisele and the struggles surrounding Brady’s personal life had something to do with his untimely retirement.

Brady was set to become a free agent this summer, sparking speculation that he would join another team for a late-season push. However, the quarterback finally chose to leave the game. Brady needed time to focus on his personal life, we suppose.

Whatever the reason might be, the NFL world is sad to see the GOAT go. We wish him well on his journey ahead.
