The closing stages of Chapter 5 Season 2 in Fortnite saw players finally opening the Pandora Box that was in a Titan Hand. It was expected to unlock stuff, but some users may have found a very interesting bug.
The bug affects the players in Zero Build mode. Whether this was intentional by Epic Games or not, you can try it out as long as it is not patched out.
How to build in Zero Build on Fortnite?
The Pandora’s Box event now allows anyone to build in Zero Build mode. A user shared a video where he was able to build a wall.
The question remains: how will you acquire materials to build anything? Killing bots will give you metals that can be used on builds.
To enable building, you have to pass through the tornado that is brewing from the opened Pandora box. First, head over to Ruined Reels, where you will find the flaming Pandora’s Box. There is a storm brewing up over it. You should go up as you enter it. Simply cross it and land anywhere. Now, press Q, and the build menu will show up. Use the materials and you should be able to build a structure.
But recollect them after you are done. Fortnite does not provide materials in this mode, and they will be difficult to find.
The ability to build in a zero-build mode looks kind of fun. Epic Games may be referencing the time when it introduced Zero Build by simply removing the ability to build anything.
Players were annoyed for sure, but there was a large user base who enjoyed it so much that Epic pushed out a dedicated Zero Build mode. Or this could simply be a time-limited event that will end with the conclusion of season 1.
Details on Fortnite’s new update
Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 2 will start on March 8. The new update will contain tons of Greek mythology characters, and some have been teased officially. The official Fortnite handle tweeted a photo recently referencing Zeus and his lightning bolt.
There are confirmed reports of Artemis, Ares, Athena, and Hermes skins arriving with the battle pass. We will also see a new character skin on the upcoming crew pack. This will add a new character to the Meowscles family that was introduced back in Chapter 2 of Season 2.
