“I’ll be ready” Former UFC welterweight Mike Perry believes potential bout with Jake Paul is still possible

Mike Perry, a former UFC welterweight fighter, is eager to face Jake Paul in the boxing ring. Although there has always been talking of a boxing match between these two due to scheduling conflicts, it has never happened. However, after the cancellation of the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury battle, things have been looking good.

Mike has been competing at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) as a middleweight division fighter. He is also famous for being unbeaten since leaving the UFC in 2021. Although he has been competing at BKFC for a while but defeating Michael “Venom” was one of the more notable victories of his recent career. He also picked up a victory over professional boxer Michael Seals in November 2021. With these very successful wins, “Platinum” is targeting a big fish for his next opponent.

The big fish is none other than the internet sensation, Jake Paul. From a few trusted sources, it has been implied that the former UFC welterweight has been targeting a boxing match against the YouTuber-turned-boxer for a while now. Jake has not provided any information due to scheduling conflicts. Regardless, the fight against the British boxer was recently canceled, which could be a blessing in disguise for the BKFC competitor.

“I believe it was for mid-February; I don’t know what I can and can’t say because I want it to happen, but there was supposed to be a really cool location, and that intrigued me, so I think it happens. If it’s mid-February, I’ll be ready. I’m ready for this weekend. I’m going to keep working, doing road work, lifting some weights, eating healthy, and just keep feeding myself, and staying hungry. That’s me. That’s what I do.” Mike Perry stated to MMA Fighting. As of now, there hasn’t been any update from the problem child, but Perry has given his update on the matter.
