
It‘s the end of an era for the National Football League, as after 21 seasons, Tom Brady officially announced his retirement from the NFL. In his statement, he expressed his gratitude to all of his supporters –family, friends, teammates and competitors– for allowing him to live his “absolute dream.”

Throughout his career, Brady has made a name for himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Spending 18 seasons with the New England Patriots, he led them to 17 division titles, 11 of those consecutive, 13 AFC Championship Games, nine Super Bowl appearances, and six Super Bowl titles.

He then moved to Tampa Bay in 2020 and won another two division titles and another Super Bowl, taking his tally to seven. During his time he earned the reputation for being one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL.
In his retirement announcement, Brady shared his heartfelt appreciation for all of his supporters. He said, “Really, thank you guys so much. To every single one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors… I could go on forever, there’s too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream.”
