It seems that Adin Ross could be back on Twitch sooner than we expected. The latest development comes very shortly after Twitch handed the popular streamer a permanent ban on appearing on any streams on its platform.
Adin has been streaming on Kick, a streaming site founded by TrainwrecksTV, since last year. He switched allegiances after accusing Twitch of “picking on him and his beliefs.”
When will Adin Ross return to Twitch?
Adin Ross spoke about his chances of returning to Twitch while answering a question by xQc during an IRL steam on Kick. When asked about his Twitch permaban status, Ross said he is still banned but is working with the authorities on this.
Adin did not state an exact time, but he expected to revoke the ban sometime in 2024.
This might be surprising, as Twitch typically does not reverse permanent bans. Additionally, considering Adin has been banned a record eight times, it’s uncertain if this reversal will occur anytime soon.
However, Twitch has reversed permanent bans in the past, with the most recent example being iShowSpeed’s ban reversal in October 2023. This suggests that if Adin is willing to engage in discussions with Twitch authorities, he could potentially make a comeback on the platform.
Twitch has experienced a loss of popular streamers in recent years, with various reasons prompting their departures. While some faced issues related to the content they streamed, others received more lucrative offers from competing platforms.

Why was Adin Ross banned from Twitch?
Adin Ross termed his Twitch permanent ban as ‘petty’. While appearing on a Full Send podcast, he spoke about why he feels the ban has more to do with him joining Kick than a violation of Twitch’s terms of service.
During one of Adin’s Twitch streams, a Kick chat box was displayed that had offensive slurs typed by his viewers. Such content is fairly common on Twitch, and someone is hardly banned for what appears in their chatbox, added Adin.
According to Twitch, this qualifies as “unmoderated hateful conduct in chat.” It does not allow promoting hateful slurs and symbols that point to anti-Semitism and racism. Adin Ross has had his fair share of controversies, and his nature of content often draws wide attention, but not always for good reasons.
Previously, Adin Ross was highly critical of Twitch in a video where he announced his switch to Kick. He said the audience was free to say anything they wanted without any consequences. The new platform has no Terms of Service, which was a nod to his frequent troubles with Twitch.
