YouTuber MrBeast explains why Solo Leveling episode 7.5 has Crunchyroll’s lowest rating of any anime

Episode 7.5 of the hottest anime of this season, Solo Leveling, dropped on February 24 and fans are not happy about it. Popular YouTuber MrBeast joins a long list of people sharing their unhappiness about the episode on Twitter.

The reception was so critical that the episode got the lowest ratings ever for any episode on Crunchyroll. Some fans felt like getting trolled by A-1 Pictures after watching the episode.

MrBeast candidly discusses Solo Leveling’s lowest anime episode ratings

After the episode premiered, MrBeast took to Twitter to share his disappointment about Episode 7.5. He labeled the content as a ‘filler’ but was expecting something similar to that.  Nevertheless, he feels the show is amazing, as stated by a perfect rating of 4.9 stars on Crunchyroll.

Episode 7.5 was a recap episode, showing what has happened in the show so far. Fans were eagerly waiting for the fate of Sung Jin-Woo as he looks for the ingredients to craft the Elixir of Life in the Demon Castle. There was plenty of action waiting for him as he navigated to Episode 8.

Meanwhile, the creators were forced to do a recap instead of pushing out new content. The voice actor behind Sung Jin-Woo tested positive for coronavirus, prompting his unavailability to do the voiceovers.

Even though fans were notified of the recap episode, A-1 Pictures could have notified them of the reason for the delay beforehand. This would have surely avoided the rating bombs.

Is Disney buying MrBeast’s 242M subs YouTube channel?

Earlier this week, a rumor circulated stating that MrBeast was letting go of his YouTube channel. A short clip from the Iced Coffee Hour podcast started doing the rounds, and Graham Stephen says Disney paid a staggering 5 billion dollars for it.

The guests were shocked to hear that and were asking the hosts if it was confirmed. But MrBeast shared the video and confirmed that he did not sell any of his intellectual property.

The video was part of a joke that was later debunked in the podcast. The clip did not state this prank, which alluded to the confusion. For those willing to clear up any confusion, go watch the Feb 25 podcast on YouTube.

Mr. Beast is still going strong and recently he built 100 wells in Africa as part of his beneficary work. His recent video has garnered 79 million views on YouTube, where he survives in an abandoned city in Croatia.
