Popular Minecraft streamer GeorgeNotFound has released a video addressing the sexual assault allegations against him. This happened after IRL streamer Caitibugzz made allegations about a Minecraft YouTuber older than her taking advantage of her.
George Davidson, also known as George Not Found, rose to popularity during the pandemic by collaborating with Dream and Sapnap. Even though Caiti did not name him in her video, fans quickly pointed out that she was referring to the popular YouTuber. Later, she spoke out after George dropped the video of his take on the accusations.
GeorgeNotFound talks on alleged s*xual assault charges
The Minecraft YouTuber dropped a pre-recorded 25-minute video on Twitch that detailed his thoughts about the incident. He started by saying they met at VidCon 2023. Later, he, Dream, Caiti, and some of her friends were hanging out at Dream’s hotel room.
He also made a claim that he assumed Caiti was 21 by looking at her wristband, which stated ‘21 only’. Apparently, he did not know she was underage to drink. Meanwhile, Caiti revealed that she clearly told everyone that she was 18 during the party, which George says she missed amid the chaos. They had some drinks and also took part in a drinking game, although George said he did not force anyone to drink.
George did admit to getting personal with Caiti. According to him, she was looking comfortable. They were cuddling together while playing games on her phone, and he had his hand on her waist over her clothes.
He also pointed out that he does not believe ‘silence is consent’, while also adding that she did not move or say anything at one point. That could point to her getting drunk at that point.
George mentions that once he found out she was underage, he did not contact her any further.
Caitibugzz responds to GeorgeNotFound’s statement
Before dropping the video, George tweeted a statement that he would never break someone’s sexual boundaries. This prompted Caiti to reply, and this is when she acknowledged George as one of the people behind her accusations.
She shared a long statement that said that she ‘is not afraid anymore’ and has screen-recorded everything’ which she can use to defend her case if needed in the future. She calls George ‘a fu*king coward’ and tells him to stop acting like a child.
Fans, meanwhile, are telling Caitibugzz to press charges against him. They are furious that George admitted to all the accusations but did not apologize for his behavior.
The fact that he was pointing to Caiti enjoying their time at VidCon has made many furious and want actions taken against him.
Later, Caitibugzz responded to George’s stream and shared her thoughts in a X post. She did not clarify if she would press any charges.
