What did Dana White say regarding Power Slap League?
Even though fans of combat sports never really embraced the new league, Dana earlier claimed that it was a tremendous success during the UFC 288 post-fight news conference. This is when the UFC president made a specific remark that sparked controversy in the combat sports industry.
“The deal that I just cut for Slap is bigger than the UFC deal we cut with SpikeTV after the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. It’s unbelievable. Not only is it unbelievable money-wise, it’s been unbelievable as far as social media goes.” Dana said.
UFC head said that Slap League has a big social media following in addition to asserting it makes more cash than the NFL and NBA combined.
