LEGO Fortnite: What’s new in the latest chapter 5 season 2 update?

Fortnite’s next season is live right now. The Greek gods have finally arrived with unique locations, battle pass skins, and many more.

Lego Fortnite also gets new outfits and kits based on popular Lego pieces. The new update builds up the Lego experience after it was added to Fortnite late last year.

Fortnite announces to include LEGO styles and kits in latest update

Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 2 update is titled ‘Myths and Mortals.’ It brings new outfits for your Lego character in-game. Some of these stand out for the collaboration between Epic Games and Fortnite. The new outfits are Beach Bomber, Brite Agent, Burnout, Chomp Sr, Hime, Marshmello, Maven, Spider Knight, Toxic Trooper, and Vertex.

These join Tomatohead and Raven in the ever-popular list of Lego Fortnite skins. To get these, check if an outfit that you own already has a Lego variant. Then you do not need to purchase it. Others will cost you anywhere from 1500 to 2500 V-Bucks.

Another addition to Lego Fortnite is Lego Kits. These are iconic locations from OG Fortnite, allowing you to build a similar structure in no time. You will get blueprints and decor items bundled with them. In essence, these are virtual Lego pieces for your Fortnite world. Beachside Boulevard, Burr Burger, and Lion Knights Castle are the three kits available right now. They will cost you 1900, 2000, and 2500 V-Bucks.

The update also fixes some bugs in Lego Fortnite. Wheel attachments will not teleport and damage constructs. Players, too, will not teleport when getting up. The developers are working on constructs, making them less likely to break. Villagers too received a bug fix, and they will provide you with the correct resources from now on.

Esports fans slam LEGO Fortnite for introducing LEGO Kits

The early reaction to the introduction of Lego kits was less than ideal. Players were not happy to pay a steep price for something that they could already buy in real life. For reference, the battle pass costs 9.50 dollars or 950 V-bucks. For the Crew Pack, you need $11.99 or 1000 V-Bucks.
