The NFL announced a team could play two Thursday night games in a season and additionally there may be a flexible scheduling policy in which teams will be notified 15 days before the match if it would fall under this rule.

What is the thought of Patrick Mahomes on TNF rules?

The quarterback Mahomes spoke up on tweeter, expressing his displeasure and bewilderment with the way the authorities could be so careless with the players’ safety.

The rules probably call for the players to have even more limited time to prepare, though, maximum players want that the authority should only allow teams to play in their second TNF game following their bye week. Another chief Justin Reid mentioned rules as “Terrible for players’ safety.”

Why didn’t Roger concur with Mahomes’ tweet?

The commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell, denied the fact and slammed Patrick on his statement, stating the rule is not in favor of Amazon as the authority also bear in mind the player’s situation and favors in all aspect. Roger claimed that there is no data on the high injury rate of players, requiring them to review the rules.

“I don’t think we’re putting Amazon over our players. The data doesn’t show a higher injury rate,” he stated.

Even though he did not mention a single player’s name, the commissioner claimed that many players enjoy Thursday Night Game. Can there be any player here valuing extra matches more than his health? I wonder if he could!

“I hear from players who also love the 10 days after a Thursday Night game. We have to try to balance all of it. ”

Chiefs fans seem to strongly disagree with Goodell’s choice, describing him as someone who does not really care about players’ health. The NFL and NFL owners appear to have no concern for player safety either, so they have no problem making a pitiful effort to increase their profits with the Amazon deal.
