Tyson Fury is desperately attempting to set up a fight for this summer. ‘The Gipsy King’ teased fans on his upcoming fight yesterday on Instagram amid a probable matchup with Jon Jones

Due to deadlock in the negotiations, Fury’s much-anticipated title unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk was canceled. As both the Ukrainian boxer and Tyson couldn’t come to an agreement on the money split, both parties would likely have to wait until December if there were to be further negotiations. 

Tyson Fury’s next fight update

In the midst of the chaos around the British heavyweight boxer’s upcoming bout, Fury himself took to Instagram to share some encouraging news for his supporters. The WBC heavyweight champion posted a video of his rigorous workout in the gym. 

The Gypsy King, who last fought in December, said in the video that some big announcement is coming very soon. The undefeated boxer shared the news in the same week when there’s a rumour in the air regarding his fight with Jon Jones. 

There are presently many rumours regarding Tyson and other heavyweight fighters going head-to-head, aside from Bones, but one of those rumors that might actually come true is Demsey McKean of Australia.

The WBC heavyweight champion also appeared interested in fighting Anthony Joshua. Previously Tyson should his unwillingness to pursue a matchup with Joshua but now due to his difficulty in finding a suitable opponent he might even consider AJ as his ring opponent. 

Will Tyson Fury fight Jon Jones?

Dana White recently shared that Fury and Jon Jones may face off in a grand duel under the UFC’s auspices. Boxing and mixed martial arts enthusiasts found it to be quite exciting, but booking The Gipsy King is one difficult task. 

The most recent instance is when Oleksandr Usyk and Fury attempted to negotiate for a fight for five months, but ultimately failed to make it happen. The Gypsy King hasn’t officially commented on the crossover heavyweight battle yet.

However, Jones, the current UFC heavyweight champion spoke extensively about the potential of his fight against Fury at a red-carpet event at Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar in Las Vegas.

“I would love it if Dana could make that fight happen. That’s one thing about the UFC. We always give the fans what they want to see.” Jon said.
