Days after Joel Embiid’s WWE homage, Sixers add more flair from the wrestling entertainment with Charlotte Flair

There has been a recent influx of WWE appearances in Philadelphia before WrestleMania, and the company’s representatives have been seen socializing with the city’s most prominent players. Wrestlers like The Rock and Seth Rollins are fans of American football, proving that pro athletes have a wide variety of interests.

Charlotte Flair, a 14-time World Champion, surprised fans by appearing at a Philadelphia 76ers game. On November 8th, she attended the Philadelphia 76ers game versus the Boston Celtics to ring the opening bell.

Charlotte Flair is the daughter of wrestling great Ric Flair, although she initially chose a different career path. She was a volleyball star in high school, winning many state championships and earning the title of Player of the Year in 2004. A well-rounded athlete, she also participated in cheerleading and basketball in addition to wrestling.

A recent NBA game featured the Philadelphia 76ers and the Washington Wizards, with WWE’s “Queen,” a 14-time World Champion, among the guests. In fact, she was the one who rang the bell to start the basketball game. However, Flair has a lengthy history with the sporting world, so it wasn’t completely out of the blue.

Not just her, but other wrestlers like Grayson Waller and MJF share similar interests outside of wrestling. Waller is a big fan of American football, and in September, MJF got to take batting practice with the New York Mets. However, many fans didn’t know about Flair’s interest in basketball until that video of the promotion Basketball went viral.

WWE HOFer backs Charlotte to break Ric Flair’s record

As Ric Flair’s daughter, Charlotte Flair inherited a great legacy in WWE. After ten years, she has established herself as a legend by capturing six titles at both SmackDown and RAW for women. Bully Ray boasts that she has finally emerged from her father’s shadow.

At the time of her introduction, Charlotte’s main defining characteristic was that she was Ric Flair’s daughter. Bully Ray is confident, adding that Charlotte is so skilled at her craft that he can’t help but think of her whenever the name Ric Flair is spoken. She went her own way and succeeded.
