John Fury predicts Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou bout result after examining Mike Tyson-led workout

Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, will be fighting Tyson Fury in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The crossover fight between the two heavyweights is one of the most anticipated fights of the year. Ngannou is being coached by none other than Mike Tyson, the former Heavyweight champion of the world.

The boxing world has high hopes for Francis to knock out Fury because of his punching power and his training with Mike Tyson. However, John Fury has a different opinion.

John Fury’s bold prediction for Fury vs Ngannou

Team Fury is not impressed by their first look at Ngannou’s boxing abilities. Ngannou appeared alongside boxing legend Mike Tyson on Tuesday in Las Vegas to showcase his skills in his first boxing open workout ahead his professional boxing debut.

It is safe to say, John Fury, the outspoken father of the heavyweight champion boxer, isn’t concerned about his son falling victim to an upset at the hands of the former UFC heavyweight titleholder. “Just seen Francis Ngannou and Mike Tyson and that so-called trainer with the pads on, seen the open workout. I hope he’s kidding around and playing possum here,” Fury said on Instagram.

“I hope that’s a joke and intended to be a laugh. Because if it’s not, he hasn’t got a prayer. He hasn’t got a cat in hell’s chance. He won’t get out of the first round. It’s probably going to be Tyson’s quickest knockout.” John Fury further added his concerns regarding the training video of Ngannou with Mike Tyson, saying he hopes it’s a joke, and if it’s not, God help Ngannou as he’ll get smashed to bits.

Ngannou predicts Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic

Having fought Miocic twice and losing his first title bout by unanimous decision in 2018, then avenging his loss with a knockout victory in March 2021, Ngannou knows firsthand that Miocic is not to be underestimated.

The Predator rates the bout between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic as a fifty-fifty matchup, as Ngannou is perfectly aware of what the American is capable of. During his open workout media scrum in Las Vegas, Ngannou said, “I fought Stipe twice, and I know Stipe is pretty good. I know he doesn’t look like it, but I know how tough he is, I know how good he is. I know very well.”
