Taylor Swift and Kanye West have an interesting history, as West can be considered the biggest rival of Taylor Swift in the music world. It all started when he didn’t let Swift deliver a speech after winning an award at VMAs.
Since then, he has kept disrespecting her through her song lyrics and in various other ways, but Taylor Swift never responded with the same negative energy. However, recently both Taylor and Kanye attended the Super Bowl LVIII and rumours are circulating that she got him kicked out of the game.
Is it true that Taylor Swift kicked Kanye West from the Super Bowl?
Taylor Swift came all the way from Tokyo to attend the Super Bowl LVIII, only to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce. However, former NFL player Brandon Marshall revealed on his podcast that Taylor Swift may be the reason that Kanye West left the game.
Kanye West was also in the Allegiant Stadium on Sunday and his face was covered with a black mask. He left the game early which made fans curious about the reason he left early and Brandon Marshall believes it happened because of Taylor. He explained it all on his podcast, stating,
“So Kanye West pulls up to Super Bowl… Kanye West buys a ticket right in front of Taylor Swift’s booth,” Marshall said on Paper Route. He continued stating that Kanye must have left because he knew “any time they were going to be showing [Taylor Swift], Kanye’s face was going to be there.”
He then explained that Taylor got pissed off by his appearance and that’s why got him kicked out of the stadium.
“So Taylor Swift gets pissed off [and] she makes a call or two — everybody is involved — [and] he gets kicked out the stadium.”
Till now there is no evidence of Brandon’s claims. Kanye West left the game but no one knows whether he was kicked out or departed on his own.
Fans also didn’t believe this allegation as they stated, “I feel like if this was true, Kanye would’ve already went public with it.”
A representative for Kanye West also rejected these allegations stating, “This is a completely fabricated rumor. It is not true.”
Whether it is true or not, for Taylor Swift the game ended perfectly. His boyfriend won the game and the couple celebrated the win on the field and then in an afterparty with their friends and family.
Kanye West has surpassed Taylor Swift as Spotify’s #1 artist
Kanye West got himself into big trouble after he made anti-Semitic comments. The controversial American rapper was banned from all social media platforms. However, after months of silence, he released a new album Vultures 1 which surpassed Taylor Swift and secured no 1 spot on Spotify globally.
His album which got delayed because of multiple reasons was finally released on the weekend and to everyone’s surprise, it quickly dethroned Taylor Swift from her #1 spot on Spotify.
West talked about his album’s success stating he survived the attempt to cancel him. Taylor and Kanye’s drama has been off for the past few months as Swift never indulged in any discussion which involved Kanye West.
His album’s success just shows that despite his controversial personality and comments, people still love his music. This achievement also made Kanye West the first ever first-ever independent artist to be No. 1 on Spotify.
