The former Women’s Undisputed tag team Champion Ronda Rousey had suffered a betrayal at the hands of her own partner Shayna Baszler. This betrayal took place when Shayna and Ronda were defending their tag titles against Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez. Suddenly during the match, Baszler stepped inside the ring and started attacking her own partner.
The crowd in the UK seems surprised also as no one expected Shayna to turn on Ronda Rousey during the match. After getting betrayed, Ronda finally shared her reaction and breaks the silence after MITB 2023.

During the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, Rousey and Baszler were defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The match ended in a shocking manner when The Queen of Spades betrayed her tag team partner and allows Liv & Raquel to score a victory and won those tag titles.
The Baddest Women on the Planet had finally broken her silence through her Instagram account. Ronda shared a short message on her post along with photos of MITB 2023, the exact moment when Baszler betrayed and attacked her from behind. The message shared by Ronda Rousey was “I can’t believe it’s already over,”.
It seems like Ronda Rousey is still in disbelief that Baszler had betrayed her as she was her longtime friend also.

For those who don’t know, Baszler and Ronda Rousey were not friends only from their time in WWE. Both the women had shared a together journey even in UFC. As Ronda & Baszler are former UFC fighters.
Prior to the betrayal at Money in the Bank, Shayna Baszler had already teased a potential match between her and Ronda Rousey. The WWE Universe pointed out this interview mainly after her actions at MITB 2023.
She said that “So in combat sports, it’s kind of this rule, in MMA or amateur wrestling, Jiu-jitsu, whatever, it’s kind of a thing where if I have the title, and my teammate works their way up through tournament and takes out everyone and earns their spot. As my friend, it would be disrespectful for me to deny them that or to refuse to give them that opportunity.”

Shayna further added that “It’s almost offensive if the person bows out like, ‘Oh, she’s my teammate, I’m not gonna [fight her]” — like, ‘Wait, you don’t think I can defend against you, what’s up?’
So it seems like Baszler is already interested in a potential match between the former friends. Now after her betrayal, the match almost seems to be confirmed.
