The biography of renowned boxer Mike Tyson is currently in production, and Jamie Foxx is ‘reportedly’ portraying the heavyweight champ. The release of this much-anticipated biopic has run into some issues owing to a health issue of Foxx that has not been made public.

A biography of Mike has long been in the works. From 1985 to 2005, Mike participated in professional boxing bouts. Since Tyson ended his pro boxing career, there have been discussions about his life story to portray on screen. Since the beginning, Jamie Foxx, an Oscar winner, has been the figure expected to play Mike’s character.
During a recent appearance in the Valuetainment podcast, hosted by Patrick Bet-David, Tyson disclosed that currently, he’s unsure of his biography. Regarding Jamie’s health issue, Tyson said, “He’s not feeling well. They said a stroke. I have no idea what happened to him. If we don’t know by now, they don’t want us to know.”
