The internet sensation and die-hard Ronaldo fan IShowSpeed is mostly known for his obnoxious behavior and funny moments when on stream. He came into the spotlight in 2022 when he was asked about his favorite football player, to which he responded, “Cristiano Ronaldo.”
From that day on, Speed started to take an active interest in football and made an effort to meet Ronaldo. His exposure brought the spotlight on him, to the point where he was even able to attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony. Most recently, he featured in a charity game alongside some retired legends of the game.
IShowSpeed plays charity soccer game with former Brazilian stars
Lately, IShowSpeed has been involved in many of the charity games, including “Match for Hope” and the Sidemen charity match in 2022 and 2023. He recently participated in the Friday charity game, which took place at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Qatar. He played the game alongside Brazilian stars such as Roberto Carlos and Kaka, as well as other superstars such as Didier Drogba, David Villa and Eden Hazard.
Playing for Chunkz’s team, he shared the dressing room with one of the greatest managers in football and who led the invincible Arsenal in the 2002/03 season, Arsene Wenger. The fans really enjoyed the hilarious acts of Ishowspeed. The manager did not start Speed, despite his request earlier in the dressing room. He was also seen giving tactical advice to the great Arsene Wenger.
The absolute highlights of Speed’s performance in this charity match were him missing an open goal after receiving a sublime pass from Eden Hazard, as well as a brutal foul on former Ballon d’Or winner Kaka.

Late in the second quarter, Speed was introduced into the match after being denied a start by Arsene Wenger. Within just 2 minutes on the pitch, Speed was seen delivering a crunching tackle from behind to the Brazilian legend Kaka. The referee instantly stopped the match and gave him a yellow card for the reckless foul from behind.
However, the fans and the views clearly enjoyed the overall match played in the stadium. It was the acts of IShowSpeed that actually grabbed most of the attention of the fans. Before the match, he was seen kissing Roberto Carlos’s legs for good luck, while during the match, the viewers burst into laughter when they saw Speed miss the golden chance set by Eden Hazard at the end. The fans were left spitting their sides during Speed’s interactions with Drogba when he asked if he was Paul Pogba’s dad.
