NFL community claims Chiefs vs Eagle scripted as Super Bowl LVII refs fuels “NFL is Rigged” controversy

The NFL has concluded the 2022–2023 season with the completion of Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12, but the ‘NFL is rigged’ controversy does not appear to be going away anytime soon.

The referees demonstrated poor officiating and gave birth to multiple controversies throughout the whole season. The most infamous performance occurred during the AFC championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Even the Super Bowl was not spared by their scandalous behavior, and NFL fans have fueled the ‘NFL is rigged’ conspiracy once more.

Why does the NFL community think the NFL is rigged?

After giving a clear-cut advantage to the Chiefs in the AFC championship, the NFL referees repeated the act after two weeks in the Super Bowl. In the final moments of the game, they made a soft holding call on Eagles’ James Bradberry.

The call gave the Chiefs a penalty, which they converted into the game-winning point. witnessing such blatant officiating, the NFL community went berserk at the referees. Even NBA superstar Lebron James said, “Sorry but I don’t like that call! Not for the Super Bowl man! 🤦🏾‍♂️”

A fan wrote, “This holding call here against the Eagles is proof that the NFL is #rigged”

Even after the victory, a video of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell hugging a Kansas City Chiefs player went viral.

Despite Bradberry’s claim that he pulled his jersey at that moment in order to flee, the fans were split into two groups: Chiefs fans and everyone else. It seems the NFL craze is going to cause some more speculation before finally cooling down.

Whatever the opinions, it is widely agreed by all fans that the referees are not doing their jobs, and thus sportsmanship and enthusiasm are declining rapidly.

What do you think about the referees’ decisions throughout this season? Did they tip the scales in favor of the Chiefs? Is the NFL rigged and scripted? Let us know your opinion.

  1. Roger Goodell and his clowns are all behind this act of NFL BEING RIGGED. The Eagles didn’t deserve to Win The NFC and The Chiefs Won the AFC only because of Rigged Referees. The Super Bowl was Rigged as well.
There is no way that people get a chance to show what they have as far as officiating knowledge because some of us don’t officiate in College but we are very good at our jobs.

  2. NO!!! After missing an earlier holding call on the Eagles, they saw that holding call. Which was warranted. It was definitely right.
