Ryan Garcia claims KSI vs Jake Paul fight will happen “because too much money on the line” but KSI delaying the showdown

The two who made the concept of influencer boxing popular, KSI and Jake Paul, have long discussed having a boxing fight. In a recent interview, Ryan Garcia was compelled to discuss the highly awaited ring battle, and he believes it is extremely likely to take place.

What does Ryan Garcia think about the fight between Jake Paul and KSI?

The 24-year-old boxer recently made an appearance on Bradley Martyn’s RAW TALK podcast where he talked about a variety of ongoing issues regarding the boxing industry. Given the growing popularity of influencer boxing, Garcia also had to discuss the Paul-KSI fight, which has been in the works for the past 12 months.

“I think it’s more on KSI if it happens or not because Jake obviously has said that he’s willing to do anything for the fight. KSI wants more training, more experience before stepping in the ring with Jake. Jake’s main focus has been boxing. KSI’s hasn’t.” said Gracia.

However, the WBC interim lightweight champion is optimistic that the grudge battle will happen. A fight involving this amount of money will undoubtedly take place sooner or later. All it needs is KSI to be completely ready to face The Problem Child.

“There’s a lot of money on the line that they won’t find a way to make it happen. I don’t think it’s that hard to make. Because they’re not part of a promotion company.” Garcia added.

KSI after defeating FaZe Temperrr in January, is now getting ready for his upcoming match against Joe Fournier. Meanwhile, Jake after suffering his first professional boxing defeat against Tommy Fury is yet to decide what he is going to do next. For Jake, it could be either a rematch with TNT or an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather.
