WWE veteran labels Becky Lynch’s iconic rival Asuka ‘The Roman Reigns of Women’s Wrestling’ ahead of Royal Rumble

Ever since her debut, Asuka has been a very significant member of the Women’s division of the WWE. She currently performs under the Monday night raw promotion of the respected wrestling organization. In an era when wrestlers like Mandy Rose are resorting to degeneracy to make a living, pure wrestlers like Becky Lynche’s rival Asuka are getting a lot of praise.

Of course the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ is no stranger to the sport of wrestling, she has previously performed in Japan with a significant career before she decided to move on to the big leagues. Ever since she started working for the company, she managed to rack up a massive win streak as she performed under the NXT banner. Her performance during the trying times of the pandemic helped entertain many fans.

Anyone familiar with the Japanese wrestling culture knows just how much care and effort they put into crafting an entertaining show for the spectators. Asuka too has that experience and she has put a lot of work into establishing her respective character with its unique quirks and behavioral patterns. Her hard work eventually led her to achieve the title of NXT Women’s Champ.

In a recent podcast Road Dogg was talking about the industry when he decided to touch on the Japanese star. At one point he even went as far as to call Asuka the ‘Roman Reigns of female wrestling’.

He went on to say, “I think as far as presentation, in-ring skills, dare I say promo skills just because I love what she does and how she represents herself via her verbal skills. I just love it and I think everybody else does too. I think she should probably be the Roman Reigns of women’s wrestling right now. It’s just my opinion. I know the big argument is, well, she can’t cut a promo domestically. I think we’re past that as a culture, as a society.”

What are your thoughts on Asuka’s journey with the WWE?
